Among his several clients, was Werner Erhard who produced the famous Est seminars. Werner hired Leonard as 'Staff Training Consultant', for about fifty hours a month to work with Est trainers and division managers. He was interested in attaining the best talent for himself and the Est staff, and was after Leonard's ability to pinpoint immediately their dominant personal consciousness patterns (what Leonard calls the personal law ) after spending a short time with his clients. In 1973 Leonard was running for Mayor of Los Angeles. While he was being interviewed on television and radio, his slogan was, "No taxation without representation!" He wanted to get his grass roots politics across to people, and with his good looks and charm, did a pretty good job. People liked him. He then wrote a book called, How To Make A Democracy Work. At this time also, he figured a solution to end our abusive tax system, and began working on his book, Government Without Taxes. It is simple and brilliant. THETA HOUSE
